6th November, 2023
November is the perfect time to celebrate the men in our lives and fundraise for Movember. The charity raises all important funds, as well as awareness for issues around men’s mental health and suicide prevention, testicular cancer, and prostate cancer.
Capstone Foster Care supports Movember and encourages everyone to break the stigma and engage in conversation in these sensitive areas.
Here are some simple ways to get involved this month, no matter your gender.
Embrace the iconic Movember look by growing a moustache throughout November. It's a fun and visual way to raise awareness and start conversations about men's health.
If growing a moustache isn't your thing, you can still participate by setting a fitness goal for the month. Walk, run, cycle, or exercise in any way you choose all while raising funds and awareness for a great cause.
Climb a mountain, break a personal best, quit a bad habit for a month or take on a dare for men’s health. Do it your way and you can’t go wrong.
Why not host a quiz? A bake sale? Host an event that raises awareness and funds for men’s health.
Or keep it super simple and donate to the cause here.
If you would like to know more about Movember, there is a wealth of information over on their website.
